The Kentucky Early Childhood Data System (KEDS)

 

was designed to gather statewide data from First Steps, State-Funded Preschool, and child care programs while allowing teachers and providers to focus on implementing high-quality assessments that provide feedback to improve instruction and support positive outcomes for young children.

What We Do

We help the state track the developmental progress of young children enrolled in their programs.

We help teachers use appropriate assessments to monitor children's learning and skill development.

ASSESSMENT SUPPORT

We help state administrators complete the federal reporting requirements for IDEA on child outcomes.
